Professor Mario Binasco
Mario is Professor of Psychology and Psychopathology of Family Ties at the Rome session of the Institute and Visiting Professor of Psychology at the Melbourne campus. He studied Group Psychology and Children's Psychosis at the State University of Milan, then Psychoanalysis in Paris, was a full-time clinician for 12 years attached to various clinics. Before taking up his posts in the Institute he taught in the Catholic University of Milan. Mario has published on narcissism, psychosis, depression, child psychology, homosexuality and Christian anthropology. He is married with four daughters. In 2002 Professor Binasco taught JP561/661 Psychology and Pastoral Care of the Family in the Institute.
