Mr Raymond Cambell
Ray is Director of the Queensland Bioethics Centre in Brisbane and Coordinator of the Office of Christian Leadership Formation for the Brisbane Archdiocese. He is an Adjunct Lecturer in Moral Theology in the Institute. After completing five years of study in Philosophy, Theology and Psychology at the Catholic Theological Union Sydney with a B.Th and Grad.Dip. he went on to complete his Licentiate in Philosophy at the Gregorian University in Rome. This was followed by twelve months research in Ethics (directed by Dr John Finnis) at Oxford University. From 1982 to 1993 he lectured in Philosophy, Moral Theology, Ethics and Bioethics at the Catholic Theological Union, while serving on medico-moral committees at a number of Sydney hospitals, including St Vincent’s, St Margaret’s and Mount Druitt Hospital. He is the author of a number of papers and book reviews.
