Mrs Kathryn Allison
Kath is the Counselling Psychologist at the Mary of the Cross Centre of the Archdiocese of Melbourne and Adjunct Lecturer in Psychology in the Institute. She has held a number of positions in the Archdiocese over a period of twelve years and with Fr Anthony Fisher OP was responsible in over-seeing the establishment of the Institute in Melbourne. As first Registrar Kathryn organised the first year semesters and welcomed the first lot of students to the Institute. With the attainment of her Master of Psychology in Counselling degree from the Swinburne University of Technology, Kath moved to full time counselling but continues to coordinate and teach in some units at the Institute.
In 2001 she took part in teaching JP680 Research Method. In 2002 Kath co-ordinated and/or taught in JP561/661 Psychology and Pastoral Care of the Family and JP563/663 Parish and Family Ministry in the Institute and will do so in future years.
