Dr Simon McCaffrey
Simon is an Adjunct Lecturer in Healthcare and Bioethics in the Institute. He graduated as a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, with honours, in 1977. He is a member of the Royal College of Gynaecologists and a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Gynaecologists. He has held appointments in major hospitals in Sydney, Johannesburg, Dublin and Shrewsbury. His present appointment is as VMO (Obstetrics and Gynaecology) at the Liverpool District Hospital in New South Wales. He is a Consultant to the Australian Bishops Conference and a Counsellor to the Right to Life Association NSW.
