Rev Dr Paul Stenhouse MSC
Fr Stenhouse is an Adjunct Lecturer in Politics in the Institute. He completed a Bachelor of Theology at the Croydon Seminary of the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart in 1963 and was ordained a priest that year. He obtained a BA (Honours) in Semitic Studies at the University of Sydney in 1973. In 1988 he completed a MA (Honours) in English at the University of New England. He was awarded his PhD in Semitic Studies at the University of Sydney in 1982. He is the Editor of "Annals Australia", Catholic Chaplain to Asian Students at Sydney's five universities, and Chairman of Aid to the Church in Need. He has written and lectured extensively on Middle Eastern politics and history, with a special interest over the past fifteen years, in Lebanon, Syria and the Balkans. In 2003 he will take part in teaching JP562/662 Politics of Marriage, the Family and Life at the Institute.
