Dr Mary Walsh
Mary is an Adjunct Lecturer in Sexual Ethics and Natural Family Planning in the Institute. She graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Queensland, and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She has long been a leader of the Natural Family Planning movement and with husband Nicholas Tonti-Filippini, a contributor to sex and relationships education both for adults and children. Mary and Nick have four children, Claire, Lucianne, Justin and John. In 2001 took part in teaching JP547/647 Theology and Practice of Natural Family Planning in the Institute and in 2002 in teaching JP564/664 Educating in Sexuality, Marriage, the Family and Life in the Institute.
