  Prayer and Liturgical Life
At the heart of the John Paul II Institute is the aspiration that, as Hans Urs von Balthasar put it, theology should be undertaken “on our knees”. Students are encouraged to participate in liturgical and prayer life with fellow students and faculty in the Institute’s chapel and at the nearby Cathedral. Mass, Confession, the Prayer of the Church, Eucharistic Adoration, the Angelus and other devotions are available. The chapel is always open to students for private prayer. Retreat days are also planned.
