  Teaching, library and student facilities

The Thomas Carr Centre at 278 Victoria Parade has excellent lecture halls, seminar rooms and student common rooms. The Institute also has shared computers and study spaces for students. Access to the complex by students after hours can be arranged.

The Mannix Library has been built up over many decades to serve the regional seminary and the three teaching institutes in the complex. As a result it is now accumulating specialisations in studies of the human person, marriage and the family and bioethics. Arrangements have also beeen made with other theological libraries for access for the Institute’s students.

The Institute is levied per student per semester course by the Mannix Library. Upon payment of library and tuition fees students enjoy full use of the Mannix Library. Library hours are as published.

The Mannix Librarian is Mr Tony McCumstie. The Deputy-Librarian is Rosalie Cotter and the Assistant is Lisa Gerber. Contact details for the library are as follows:
ph. 94123350;
fax 94159867;
email: library@ctcmelb.vic.edu.au

There are student common rooms both on the ground floor and the top floor of the Institute, where drinks and basic snacks, refrigerators and microwaves are available.
