Friends of the Institute; the John Paul II Foundation
The Friends of the John Paul II Institute are a group of people who contribute their prayers, advice and practical assistance to supporting the Institute in a voluntary capacity. They include Catholic laypeople from all walks of life, as well as dioceses and religious congregations.
The Friends are in the process of establishing the John Paul II Foundation to accumulate, invest and disburse funds for the purposes of - assisting the funding of visiting lecturers of international reputation
- assisting Australian students for whom fees or living costs while studying involve considerable financial hardship
- assisting international students from poorer countries for whom fees or living costs while studying involve considerable financial hardship
- library and other facilities for students and teachers
- research projects in the area of the Institute's mandate.
