Sexual Harassment Policy
Sexual harassment is any behaviour of a sexual nature which is uninvited and unwelcome. It can be a single incident, or a repeated pattern of unwelcome behaviour which offends, humiliates or intimidates a person.
The Institute is committed to providing an environment in which staff and students can work and study free from sexual harassment. Sexual harassment is unlawful and against both Institute policy and the moral teachings of the Catholic Church.
Students or staff who believe that they are the victims of sexual harassment should report the matter to either the Dean or the Director of the Institute whose duty it is to handle the complaint. All parties concerned will be given an opportunity to tell their sides of the story, and natural justice and due process will be observed.
